*Final PSAT Post*

I am on page 243, and i have about another 100 left to go. So far this book is very good, its not kind of a funny story it is a funny story. Reading this book for class has improved my reading speed and ultimately got me reading again because before reading was extra boring. Reading to me, was worthwhile. I feel like it was wasted and actually helped me become successful. It was fun while it lasted!

It's Kind of a Funny Story- Catch-Up

The main character in the story, Craig has trouble eating. Some days he feel like he could eat anything in his way, but other days it feels like he would throw up if he ate anything.  Craig feels as if theres a man in his stomach and when the man is awake the man closes his stomach because that's his job. But when the man is sleep that's when Craig stomach is open so he eats everything and anything he can before the man wakes up. It is a bizarre analogy to Craig's eating problems but it makes alot of sense.  I'm looking forward to reading more of this book because it's kind of a funny story.

The main character of this story is named Craig. Craig has a huge imagination, but has mental problems because he has a therapist and goes to her every week. He has problems eating and sleeping some days too. He wishes he had the strength of his mom and the life of her spaniel dog, Jordan. He's a funny character.

The book begins when the narrator is at his friends house with having a good time joking around. Then the narrator goes to the therapist. He uses a lot of analogies to describe his life. I like the book, it's funny and different. One of my favorite books that I've read so far.

"Akeelah and the Bee" - Part 2

I enjoyed the movie, I loved the way they created suspense in the movie.  The ending suprised me because I thought Dylan would take it all because she let him win, but instead they both won which was great.  This movie is very inspirational and I would recommend it to anybody that needs motivation to achieve a great goal.  Words will help me get a high score on the SATs. I will be a wiser person, or atleast sound like one, with a wide range vocabulary.

S.C.A.M- Setting

The setting of the book takes place in Hillside, in Mike's house and the movies, and the time is unknown. It states on page 15, "That evening I sat alone in my living room in front of the Yankees pre-game show..." which proves that Mike was at his house. It also states on page 21, "Winter asked me in the darkened movie theater..." which proves that Mike and Winter were at the movies together.

S.C.A.M. - Character Post

Mike Riley is the main character in the novel and he's a static character right now. He's a character who hasn't changed so far yet. He hasn't changed because he still is a person who avoids trouble and does what he's suppose to do. He is still obsessed with Penn State and believes he is in love with his girlfriend.

The author of the book is Spark Notes and it is a comedy genre, 161 page novel.

The beginning of the novel is set in Tyler Brook's basement. Tyler and his friends, Mike, Ian O'Connor, Brad Lackler, and Chris, were playing poker while Tyler's parents were out at a charity event. I enjoy this book a lot so far, I love the comedy and the characters. I look forward to reading more of this book because it interests me a lot and implements SAT vocabulary words smoothly.
